STFL research orchard manager & Project Manager: To administrate and maintain the Tree For Life orchards. This position demands a passionate tree plantation manager with a high expectation of achievement on behalf of their bursary tree owners. The post will include positioning and overseeing the plantation days for school pupils planting and documentation, together with providing ownership certificates and assuring their website is set up for each tree owner. Six monthly monitoring and databasing progress, including full tree care and pruning wherever necessary to ensure quality and maximum yield. Working with other colleagues, farmers, marketing and agricultural colleges to achieve the best price and consistent produce purchase. whether it’s for export food product manufacturing or schools and Hospital canteens. To plant by design to provide intelligent permaculture farm.
This position has a key vital role in the overall sustainable farming by design which simply means specifically planting to enhance and help neighbouring plants and trees to grow for maximum produce and sustainability. This STFL research orchard manager would not only be closely working together with the STFL project manager, but all farm managers to achieve the success of this “Symbiosis Tree for Life” project. That is designed from scratch from a 6 acre field, planted with 1200 trees per acre. (trees planted are funded by the Symbiosis Tree For Life Sponsorship ).

The Cash Flow forecast is based on 1200 trees P.A on a 6.5 acre farm.
• Designed the 6 acre fields in to two acre paddock surrounded by the following Productive Hedges: 1. Start with straight Hazel Tree planted close as a centre hedge.
- Plant a row of Bay leaf bushes.
- 3. Then rows of Gooseberry bushes at base of the new hedge. The hedges will have the hazel in the centre flanked by Bay leaf bushes then Gooseberry bushes on either side.
- The rows of fruit trees will be planted with Thyme or Lavender at the base.
- The lawn rows carrying portable chicken runs keeping the grass low.
- At the corners of the field’s we have beehives supplying our crops & providing honey to boot!
All pruning cuttings will be used for root Stock (Fruit trees, Hazel, Bay leaf tree, Gooseberrie bush, Lavender, Thyme, Mulberry Tree, Thornless blackberry bush).
Running a 6.5 acre farm by Design will in 3 years provide a 100% Sales revenue. The 100% sales profit will go to the bursary.
Witch after year 3 for a fully planted 6 acre should be about:£199,680 on a good year. This only applies to the trees planted for the bursary owners.
The Farm forecast will only show the potential earnings ran together receiving the custodial farm produce sales after running & production cost, adding to Buying more Land and farm job’s for Symbiosis Tree For Live .

The Chicken runs carrying 16 chickens each producing 12 eggs a day = £2.
10 runs = £20 a day = £140 a week = £560 a month. With 10 runs per acre = £3360 a month.
