Recycling: On my visits to Jamaica I have noted with others, that the recycling opportunity has not been grasped. I heard councilors in Montego Bay stating, that they have no funds to establish an effective system. Unfortunately we must make a start somewhere, and it doesn’t necessarily need to cost a fortune, to effectively and collectively set up recycling centers, specializing in sorting and separating waste, to not only keep our towns and villages clean but financially gain from plastic, wood, food, metals, washing machines and fridges. recycling in innovative ways and projects. Giving more knowledge with the opportunity of advancement to running their own, specialized section of micro recycling creating more jobs and opportunities.

All the above will create Jobs & New Business owners increasing the community wealth. And returning to a sharing and supporting environment

Land: The land is constantly trying to educate us all, every day every month and every year unfortunately, we cannot see the wood for the trees.

For many decades capitalism have flourished from our real wealth without cost to themselves. Creating modern civilization and all that goes with it including the biggest destructive element of human existence, greed.

Unfortunately it is nye on Impossible to completely live without capitalization but we can think intelligently with apathetic sharing existence like our forefathers. I was proud two relay stories, of my grandfather and great-grandparents before them, they cared for one another, taking on children that have lost parents or abandoned, and treated as their own. The original descendants, wealth was determined on how many people you could help. With nothing more expected in return other than, appreciation and respectful conduct within their community, was the ethics of all.

Trees: In the country my grandparents made sure that my uncle and Aunt distributed breadfruit, Aki,banana, apple, oranges, mango, pears, coconuts, & soursop, in fact any abundance produce were shared between family and friends and surplus sold.

Meet : The Wild Fowl Roamed throughout the forest and backyards keeping the balance by eating insects bugs and food scraps shared with them, the wildfowl was highly nutritious and produced Quality Meat to eat. The eggs were collected for breakfast and all was achieved without going down to the farm feed shop.

The wild boar was originally the source of jerk pork. I haven’t seen any wild boar, but we do have the modern pig’s, that breed well and are happy with discarded food scraps. But originally the wild boar must-have forage for themselves within the forest and backyards.

Bushes shrubs and root plants are deliciously in abundance throughout Jamaica and the Caribbean. Keeping our nation strong well-balanced and fit with all the medicine required to, keep us on track with nothing more then Grandma’s medicine remedies, from leaves and plants for every ailment. These essentially makeup the basic ingredients of most Western world medicine today.

Education: Affording children’s education without some sort of bursary is Out of Reach of many parents. Our children will drive the future and need to understand the values of working together, sharing a sustainable life style and values. That would put them on the way to infinite rewards and may even go a long way to reducing crime! I propose to make a positive start by addressing some of the sustainable life style solutions by setting up a Symbiosis Tree for Life & Orchard Management Project
